Development process
The following is a guide to the procedure you can expect in Croatia when planning and implementing a development. An architect is required to assist in carrying out all these procedures.

Preparation
Assemble a land map with full geometric description of the plot.

Detailed plan
Architect produces detailed plan of the proposed development in keeping with the building conditions for the area. Detailed plan includes basic information on routing of infrastructure, configuration of buildings and other preliminary details.

Location permit
Following approval of the detailed plan the first stage of building permission known as the location permit will be granted.
